Matthew Harrington is a multidisciplinary designer & creative director based in Melbourne, Australia with vast experience in the fashion and ecommerce industries. He is driven by creating meaningful connections between brands and their audience through compelling creatives and visual story telling that captivates audiences and best represents brand & product values. He is a firm believer in brand values, story and authenticity, and believes a strong and consistant brand story builds the foundation for a strong business. Being versed in a wide range of skills and knowledge, as well as a drive to learn has allowed him to develop both an analytical and creative mindset, which heβs found to be highly beneficial when approaching his work.
His portfolio consists of versatile design & creative styles, clean, consistent and high end executions and cultural and design references that inspire and inform others. While he specialises in product design, he doesnβt believe in choosing just one design discipline. Matthew has experience in graphic and web design (including marketing and retail collateral, packaging, UI/UX design and fundamentals) and is consistently exploring all design disciplines. As well as design, his practices additionally include brand identity and strategy, critical thinking, creative direction and problem solving, photography, copywriting, social media management, content creation and marketing.
Ever passionate about using his creativity to communicate with others and tell a story, Matthew has had the pleasure of working with clients including, but not limited to July Luggage, BMW, Rixx Eyewear, The Oodie, Charles & Lee and the NFL, he is currently looking to continue utilising his skillset to bring the visions of his clients to life while demonstrating that design and creativity is involved in every aspect of life.
